Dr. Fauci has opened the door for the return of professional and college sports but it comes with strict guidelines you won’t believe.
Spring has seemed less “springy” due to the lack of basketball and spring training for baseball. Summer will seem less like summer without baseball, the NBA playoffs and the Stanley Cup Championship. According to Fauci, the return of sports will hinge on teams, organizations and players committing to the following.
- Playing to an empty stadium.
- Put teams in large hotels where they can maintain distance and be surveilled.
- Have them tested every week for Coronavirus.

Let’s be honest, baseball doesn’t really get a large stadium attendance until September and October. Save for the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs and Cardinals. But watching BSU or your favorite football or basketball team play with no crowd. That would just be weird.
